Posted on 11/18/2019

“Hello parents! As we move into the second quarter, just a friendly reminder that your student should be reading on a daily basis in order to ensure success in their English classes. It's important that they interact with the text by annotating the text or completing any reading logs required by the teacher. Please contact your student's English teacher with any questions." - Mr. Deegan, English Language Arts Teacher

Parents, please help your students with their reading. Here is a list of the books being read in each class right now in the High School:

Perspectives: Of Mice and Men
Perspectives Honors: Hamlet
Genre Studies: The Border
Genre Studies Honors: Frankenstein; Black Boy; Purple Hibiscus; I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings;
US Literature: Catcher in the Rye
AP Literature: The Scarlet Letter

We believe that reading everyday will boost your students' learning and academic achievement dramatically!
