The College & Career Center is just one of the many avenues that Esperanza Academy Charter High School ensures that they are not only providing quality education to their students, but preparing them to be critically thinking and socially capable adults. The College and Career Center provides students with individualized assistance through post-secondary exploration and planning.
Keeping true to our mission statement, Esperanza Academy has increased the use of technology in the College and Career Center by including Naviance™, a comprehensive college and career readiness tool used to help align student strengths and interests to post-secondary goals.
Naviance offers EA students a series of career assessments that help them discover multiple career options, and plan their career paths based on general areas of interest, and the level of education and training required to achieve their individual goals and objectives. These tools allow students to realize their goals, skills, knowledge, values, constraints and interests to help them make better academic decisions. During this process, students gain a clear understanding of the academic preparation required to pursue careers that are likely to be fulfilling to them. EA students will have access to their Naviance accounts starting freshman year.
The College and Career Center presents the Senior Survival Guide!
Here students will find everything they need to know about college such as the college process, financial aid, scholarship information, and a look at the top colleges in PA. It also includes Esperanza Academy's graduation requirements!
